Consonant Digraphs vs Consonant Blends

I have a question concerning consonant digraphs and consonant blends: Are these two the same?

Can consonant blend and consonant digraph be used interchangeably to mean the same thing? Please let me know.

They are different things according to the textbooks I've read on the subject, although that's not to say that there can't be any books that use those terms interchangeably.
