Which is correct? Would you say it differently?

For the few times we go out, we don't need a babysitter. We can ask our parents to babysit.
Considering the few times we go out, we don't need a babysitter. We can ask our parents to babysit.

That is expensive considering/for what it is.

For the amount of money I paid for the car, you had better keep it a good 5 years.
