Thank you. This is the phrase we use most often in fundraising letters:
Thank you for your consideration in/of/for/to... be, join, make, being, making, joining, giving, etc. I was hoping to find a good resource for the exact rule on this so I would know how to handle all the different possibilities.
What options are correct, or how do we need to re-word this statement?

In this case consideration ends the phrase. in ...ing makes the next phrase.

You need:
Thank you for your consideration ------ in joining / in giving / etc.

(because you joined / because you gave / etc.)
(shown by the fact that you joined / gave / etc.)

Note, however, that in all examples of consideration with to (in this thread so far), the to doesn't go with consideration, it goes with the verb give. Similarly, show consideration for. More than just the one word consideration is needed to determine what word goes best after it.

I am writing a recommendation letter and saw a template which read:

"I would like to appreciate your most favorite consideration to her."

Is this correct?

Far from it: I would like to appreciate is not native, most favorite is redundant, favorite is a wrong word choice, and consideration to does not work here.
