"consideration of" or "consideration for"

if I have to say"Thank you very much  for your careful consideration of/for my application."i am not certain which word to use and what are the differences.Please helpthank you very much

Why not rephrase? Say,

Thank you very much for considering my application.

Here - because it's a thing and consider here is about (looking at and) thinking about - you would use of.

Consideration for is usually used about other people, "showing consideration for others" - thinking about their needs, feelings, etc.

This one is not easy for native speakers - you can avoid the issue by using considering >

Thank you for considering my application.

She never acts without considering others.
