Is the use of the word "consideration" correct in the following sentence:

" ... his consideration of the issue a top priority in his cabinet's policy."

Hi, Is the use of the word "consideration" correct in the following sentence: " ... " Yes, it's OK, although it depends a bit on what the beginning of the sentence is. In this example, I'd probably omit the first 'his'.
