Consider that / consider the fact that

Hi, my dictionaries don't take account of these structures:

  1. Consider (that) you will have to pay if you want to join our club.

  2. The engineers didn't consider (that) the weight of the fuel might slow down the roket. That's the reason for that disaster.
Are they ok? Can I put a sentence after consider in these contexts? Or do I need an object or a gerund? Like these:

  1. Consider the fact (that) you will have to pay if you want to join our club.

  2. The engineers didn't consider the fact (that) the weight of the fuel might slow down the roket. That's the reason for that disaster.
