conscious vs aware

Hi,

1/ Can I say aware of doing sth?

Ex: He became acutely aware of having failed his parents.

2/ Are aware and conscious interchangeable? If not, what is the difference in meaning between them?

Ex: She's very conscious of the problems involved. (a)

=She's very aware of the problems involved. (b)?

Tung Quoc Are aware and conscious interchangeable? You can say that you are conscious of a problem but conscious is more often used to refer to your physical state; awake or asleep, conscious or unconscious. You would never say that you were unconscious of the problem.

You would never say that you were unconscious of the problem.
