AnonymousA member in our team tninks that the word Apha completely points to Jewish religious association. The quote I gave you in the previous post is Christian, not Jewish. Christianity originated in Judaism, so they have many concepts and scriptures in common. the word "alphabet" is derived from the root "aleph."

BarbaraPAAlef definitely is Jewish and Aleph sounds like Alef, so yes, my first thought was Judaism as well. Alpha just means first for most of us. But it's also a very common word and used in many names.Thank you Barbra. I like the association of beginning.
BarbaraPAI don't understand the question. I simply associated "Aleph" with "Alef" which (as a Hebrew word) I associate with Judaism. Perhaps if I grew up speaking Arabic, I would associate Aleph with Alif and thus would associate it with Arabic instead. You actually answered my question about your association with Alef. Thank you.
