Connective speech: -ge before s How?

It's kinda hard to pronounce -ge /j/ before -s on the sentence "two edged sword"

How do we connect them? Is it "two edCHsword"? Also, there is "d" sound after -ge. Do I have to tap "t" as well?

Top answer

In careful articulation it should be "edjdsord". In fast or loose speech, the second "d" may degrade or be lost altogether.
