Connection all stations. Is that a typo?

Hello,

I'm curious about the phrase of "Connection all stations". I found it in the following line in the ebook "Deception Point" by Dan Brown

"L'Enfant Plaza," a recording announced in the subway car. "Connection all stations."

I think it must be like "Connection to all stations". Thus, the preposition "to" is ommited. Maybe it's a misprint; but anyway, can you tell me if it's still correct to write "Connection all stations" or I have to insert "to"?

Dear Mishau, It is my opinion that it is correct to say «to all stations». It is customary however to omit small words in headlines and announcements. We may perhaps say that the full sentence is «change here for connections to all stations».

Thank you very much, Goldmund. I suspected so, but was corrected by a native speaker who told me that "connection all stations" made no sense. Now I understand what's the matter.

I'd vote for "connection to". "This station "L'Enfant Plaza" can connect you to all (the other) stations".

The only thing that is still gnawing my mind is that I never found the verb "connect at" in any dictionaries I have. I found "connect with", "connect to", "connect across", "connect across", "connect by" and "connect in" only.
And no verb such as "connect at". So, what might "connection at" mean?
