Connect lingustics and drumming in a dilploma work

Well. I've got a diploma work ahead and love for drums now. I could choose a more basic topic for the research, but well - that wouldn't be that interesting if there is a more preferable topic lying around. The point is - I can't see it. I can't find a way to connect music and language. English is a rhythmic language and there is always poertry, but I've neber been to much into it. Does anyone have any ideas?
