conjunctive adverbs& Transitional phrase

Is it wrong to use dash instead of semicolon for conjunctive adverbs and phrases, which are transitional? How does one write these correctly ?not sure if whether commas go after conjunctive adverbs with semicolon before it.

Bobby said he didn't want to go – however his wife insisted he does go.

He didn't like his job – hence he quit.

He stole money from the shop – as a result he was arrested.
