Conjunctions

How do you join these sentences using a conjunction?
"Life is not an empty dream. Do not say that."

Is " Do not say that life is an empty dream" correct?
If so, please tell me which word is the conjunction.

It's a correct sentence, but it doesn't incorporate a conjunction (that isn't a conjunction). Perhaps this is what the item is after: "Life is not an empty dream, and you shouldn't say that." (and being the conjunction)

H&P call that a subordinator and words like and coordinators. There are no conjunctions in their framework. I was just under the impression that the that of a content clause is classified as a subordinating conjunction in grammars that do use the term ‘conjunction’.
