Conjunctions...

Our exercise was to write some sentences and then identify all the conjunctions. I would like to make sure I've properly done my assignment, so if someone could double check these for me, it would be greatly appreciated! I bolded all the ones I believe to be the conjunctions.

The materials were not entirely satisfactory; nevertheless, Frazier decided to use them.

When he left the office on Tuesday morning, he said that he would be visiting prospects during the day.
  1. We failed to reach our quota of 550 sales in October; however, we made a determined effort.
We listened carefully while Sally gave her speech.
  1. Your plans, however, have not been finalized; therefore, we must delay your departure.
  1. Kelly’s aggressive behavior caused problems not only with her coworkers but also with the customers.
  1. Whether personal problems or work difficulties cause you stress, recognize the early burnout signs.
  1. Even though I plan each day carefully, stressful interruptions often occur.
  1. As recent statistics indicate, the need to manage time is more urgent than ever.
  1. Too many of us become ill before we decide to change our habits.

Thank you for your help, Mr. Micawber. I wasn't sure about "however" because my textbook lists it as being a conjunctional adverb, but I wasn't sure if it was actually functioning properly as a conjunction in the sentence.

If the word "however" appeared AFTER the semicolon, would it then be functioning as the conjunction?

Yes, it would: it would then be tying two clauses together.
