Conjunction 'provided'

Hi. Please help me understand the English conjunction.

What is the most appropriate conjunction here?

"You seem to have had that car for year." "Yes, I should sell it ( ) it still works.

I know that the most appropriate word here is 'while'.

But could I use 'provided' or 'if' instead?

Hope your reply. Thanks.

  • 'While' is not wrong here, but it suggests that you think the car is going to stop working (soon).
