Conjunction problem

Conjunction problem

The passage below comes from a book about network.

https://books.google.co.kr/books?id=bYJGna0AhdAC&pg=PA18&dq=%22It+might+seem+that+the+abundance+of+information+that+organizations+provide%22&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiQ-4ysn6jMAhVBl5QKHbY0DA4Q6AEIGzAA#v=onepage&q&f=false

In the less hierarchical and less bounded networked environment — where special knowledge is more in dispute than in the past and where relationships are less stable — there is more uncertainty about whom and what information sources to trust. The explosion of information and information sources has had the paradoxical impact of pushing people on the path of greater reliance on their networks. It might seem that the abundance of information that organizations provide on the Internet would prompt people to rely less on their friends and colleagues for facts and advice. Yet it turns out that the increasing amount of information pouring into people’s lives leads them to turn to their social networks to make sense of it.

In these four sentences only last sentence has conjunctive adverb 'yet'.
It seems that the remaining two sentences following frist can be understood with added conjunctives.

So I revisioned the original with two more conjunctives with brackets so that the logical connection becomes explicit among sentences.

[So] The explosion of information and information sources has had the paradoxical impact of pushing people on the path of greater reliance on their networks. [On the other hand] It might seem that the abundance of information that organizations provide on the Internet would prompt people to rely less on their friends and colleagues for facts and advice. Yet it turns out that the increasing amount of information pouring into people’s lives leads them to turn to their social networks to make sense of it.

I know the rule that when there is no chance of misunderstanding the less the conjunctives are the better. But this passage zigzags its logic on every possible way I want to check out whether my logic is right with added conjucntives.

Do you agree with me?
If you don't can you suggest better conjunctives for better understanding of this wandering passage?

Regards.

Stenka25 In these four sentences only last sentence has conjunctive adverb 'yet'. I think it reads just fine the way it is. The logic is quite straightforward.
