Which sentence is proper?

I am doing my homework tonight so it can be completed by tommorow.

First, you needn't place a comma after tonight. What did you mean by 'so'? I'm doing my homework tonight in order to complete it by tomorrow.

First, you needn't place a comma after tonight. What did you mean by 'so'?
I'm doing my homework tonight in order to complete it by tomorrow. I'm doing my homework so that to complete it by tomorrow.

All the aforementioned 'in order to', 'so that' carry the meaning of purpose.
