Confusion with third person pronouns.

1.He gets yelled at by his wife.

2.She left her phone at home.


But this is where it gets tricky.


3. Brian's sister likes his/her bestfriend.?


Which one to use here?

I guess they both mean two different things.


Her bestfriend= Brian's sister's bestfriend.

His bestfriend= Brian's bestfriend.
