Confusion in irony or sarcastic

Hi, what's the difference between "irony" or "sarcastic"?

Top answer

Hi, May I first ask if you have looked in your dictionary? In terms of speech, a major difference is that a sarcastic remark is intended to be hurtful to the person spoken to, but an ironic remark is not. Best wishes, Clive
