Confusion; ", even playing games there"

Hi everybody, I'm wondering if the following sentence is grammatically correct:

"They were good friends, meaning they spent a lot of time at his place, even playing video games there."

Now, I know you could say "they even played video games there", but I'm wondering whether the above is correct.

Your sentence seems OK to me.

"They were good friends, meaning they spent a lot of time at his place, even playing video games there."
They were good friends, which means/meant they spent a lot of time at his place, and even spent time playing video games there.
