Confusing expressions...

Hi, I'm wondering if there's anybody who can help me with two confusing expression. I've just run into the following two sentences. 1. I was supposed to meet you there yesterday.2. I was supposed to have met you there yesterday.Is there any difference between theses? Please help.Best regards,

I was supposed to meet you there yesterday. I was supposed to have met you there the week before, also. The past perfect must be related to another action (real or implied).

I was supposed to have met you there the week before, also.
