Confused words ( such, like that and how)

1) He is such a man.

2) he is that kind man.

3) he is like that.

4) That' s how he is.

Are they the same meaning? what are the differences.

Hi - They do all mean the same thing, but #1 may be misunderstood without the right context. Of course, all of them can sound wrong without the right context. If you said instead "He is just such a man" that would be a bit better.

I agree they all can mean the same thing as amended and noted above, but #1 can also be used sarcastically to mean that the person (a male) things very highly of his masculinity.
