Ok, I believe you will see that on the web. But since a recipe is an instruction, I don't think it's correct to say, 'cook the instructions'. People will know what you mean, but it's better to say, 'cook this meal' or 'cook the food' or 'follow this recipe' or 'use the recipe to prepare the meal'.
