Confused while using "to" or applying "to" in the sentence

Hi,

I am confused that when should I use "to".

Someboby asked me that, was that medicine helpful to you or not? and I replied to her than I felt confused in these three sentence.

a) It helps me to go to sleep.
b) It helped to make me sleepy.
c) It helped me to get good sleep.

Anonymous when should I use "to". I think you're asking more specifically about the use of "to" after the verb "help". "help" is an usual verb in English in that the following "to" is optional.
