Sorry, Anon, your question is broad to an absurd degree. Entire books have been written on modals.
If you can ask specific questions, you can get answers.

Start here.

The simplest uses are as follows. There are many others not shown here.

TENSE:

will: future of the present; like am/is/are going to
would: future of the past; like was/were going to

Sally says that Matt will arrive at noon tomorrow.
Sally said that Matt would arrive at noon
0
That is partially correct about referring to the past. If there is a condition phrase such asL I could fly this plane if you fix the left wing.

Thank you for these informative inputs. I've been looking this for such a long time. These are great help for me. My student are sometimes confused when to use these cases.

I can fly expresses an capability of flying = I am able to fly

I could fly expresses what uou would be able to do if something else was the case i.e. if I had wings I could fly. Technically, I could fly is the apodosis of a condition sentence whose protasis is if I had wings.

Can or could use for singular or for plurals please tell me details because I am confuse in using of can or could

Can" is one of the most commonly used modal verbs in English. It can be used to express ability or opportunity, to request or offer permission, and to show possibility or impossibility
0
It depends on the condition
For Example: Can you please do it.(Suppose Your boss asked you )

It means you have to do it because he is your boss you can't deny it.(it leaves a quite little possibility to say no).

Could you please do it for me or Could you please approve my request.(Suppose you asked your boss)
It means it leaves some room possibility to say no.
