Vocabulary

confused and confusing

Hello,
I just came across: "The answer to the question was very confused." I would use "confusing", but after reading this confusing answer, I would be confused. What am I missing?

Gene93 The answer to the question was very confused. It was very disorganized, badly constructed. I'd say this is a more literary use of 'confused'.
