Confused.
What he would do is he would see people drive by, go to the places that they were camping, watch them, and when they would leave theit camps, he would sneak down the camp and take good and whatever he needed at the time.
My question is should it be 'they left' after when in the sentence? I saw this sentence on tv. Thank you.
