Confused

I've had an English exam today. A strange question came in the exam and I want to know if my answer is correct.

Ahmed: What .................(1)................ arriving there?
Usama: At twelve if the bus isn't late.

I wrote: What time will you be arriving there?
Others wrote: What time are you arriving?

I really want to know which one is right and it will be better if I know the reason.

Thank you.

It has occurred to me that others may disagree -(as did you "others" who took the exam. Hence, I ought to explain why, and others in the forum can explain their choice.

But...you first! Why did you choose that response?

Because "When are you arriving there?" didn't seem correct to me. The present continuous is used in this question and it can't be used in it, so I thought of another answer. I guess it was just a feeling. My turn now... why did you agree with me? Why didn't you choose them both?

What confuses me more is that both "future continuous" and present continuous" are used to talk about a fixed and decided action.
  1. What time are you having dinner tonight ?
  2. What time will you be having dinner tonight ?

Why ? It's possible too.

This is my thought on this question. From the sound perspective, both seem correct. But "There" is not really needed, in fact, it made it less natural to my ear..
If one must be picked between the two,

All right,is it because you aren't sure what time you'll arrive ? or because there is a short stop as you said ?.though I see no relation between you stop or not,and you being not sure what time you'll arrive.

.But please, could you avoid writing in green. It's not clear at all.I must highlight all the sentence to be able to read it.

Thanks for your reply.

Really! then you must still have an old monitor. It showed up fine on mine. I used green to show the semantic relationship of my sentence to the original question, not to purposely irritate anyone. If you don't like green, what other colors do you prefer? If I remember right, I thought you u

I meant no offend when I talked about green color.I truely see nothing.Yes I write with red and highlighted with yellow color, but if it's also not clear,I won't use these colors anymore.Sorry if I said something wrong.
As for my doubts,I'm sure that both future continuous and present continuous are correct, but isn't there a slight difference between them in the sentence written above ?If so,co

I realized I was wrong. It can be used in such a question.

By the way, my English exam results came up today and I got the perfect mark "60\60"
I'm extremely happy!!!
