Confused

The following is a comment from a participant of an international conference. Could anyone let me know what it means, please?

"I have been around the turn of the boss suddenly pinch hitter. First experience in
an international conference, thank you very valuable experience."

This seems like a transcription someone might have made of another person's verbal comments. A "pinch hitter" in baseball is someone who comes in unexpectedly at the last moment to take the place (at bat) of a regular player. The expression is often used figuratively.
