Confine as a noun
1 Respecting the confines of the show, we decided to make it as violent as possible within our limits. 2 They've tried to be as authentic as possible while staying within the theatrical confines of the show. 3 They tried to make it as violent as possible within the restricted limits/confines. (are they interchangeable?) 4 You have to deal within the confines of reality/limits of reality, we're not a wonderland. You can't just snap your finger and hope to get a presidential pardon for all the autrocities you commited.
Confine as a verb
1 As are show was rate PG, we had to make it suspenseful, explicit while keepng it within limit and confining the scenes to specific areas and making the scenes as hard and explicit as the limits allowed. 2 Since our show is confined to a specific audience, we have to keep the violenceto a minimum.

Question, I looked through the english synonym dictionary and I looked up LIMIT and CONFINE didn't come up. Are the 2 interchangeable in the sentences? and I also looked through the dictionary to see if you could use CONFINE (verb) the way I have and I couldn't find and example that matched mine. So would you use it like that and doesn't sound natural?
