My question this time is ‘which is more suitable?’ The two sections below are actually one text which continues. Which do you think is better suitable?
Most creators are actually made and not born. Child prodigies — except in music and sometimes mathematics — usually lose their mysterious genius for calculating or playing chess when they grow up. Creators are generally average people with a given talent which they discover only through great effort and tremendous ( A ). They first want to be somebody — they want to have talent — and the great urge to create takes hold of them and forces them to search their inner selves until they discover it.

A person can discover where his greatest ability lies by examining his greatest interests. When you read, for example, the things that stick in your mind and really interest you give you some idea about where your talent can best express itself. Stop and think about what you have remembered from the past five books you have read. Drop all previous ideas about ( B ) and begin anew with an open mind. Preconceived ideas which really do not have anything to do with you yourself may exist — perhaps because of something someone once said. The most interesting thing you remember may suggest the best area to explore.
