conduct

Hi,
Does "conduct" sounds good in my sentence below?

"The speech intelligibility test was conducted on each person under four different conditions: without noise and without earplugs, with noise and without earplugs, with noise and with 25 NRR earplugs, with noise and with 32 NRR earplugs."

Is there any other problem with the sentence?

Thanks !

Each participant took the speech intelligibility test under four different conditions: without noise or earplugs, with noise but without earplugs, with noise and 25 NRR earplugs, and with noise and 32 NRR earplugs.

I wonder if it sounds OK. Does the last sentence convey the same meaning If I omit the last part (as compared...)?

Is it common to say "somebody has the maximum speech perception in such and such situation" or I should say the maximum speech perception is related to such and such situation?

Thank you!

No, of course not—we do not talk about 'speech perception' much...or at all.
gillyflowerI should say the maximum speech perception is related to such and such situation?
That depends on the situation.

Mister MicawberThat depends on the situation.
Thank you. I'm talking about my previous post:
"Results showed that the maximum speech perception was related to without noise or earplugs situation, and the minimum speech perception was related to with noise and without earplugs, at S/N= -10. Results also revealed that hearing protectors (25 or 32 NNR earplug

The results show that maximum speech perception occurred without noise or earplugs, while minimum speech perception occurred with noise and without earplugs at S/N= -10.

Results also reveal that hearing protectors (25 or 32 NNR earplugs) improved the average value of speech intelligibility. This value was greater with 25 NRR than 32 NRR earplugs.

Hello,
Please comment on the following:

"Figure 1 illustrates the results of the speech intelligibility test of without noise and earplugs, and with noise but without earplugs conditions. Results showed that without noise and earplugs, participants correctly repeated 89.75% of the words on average. "

Thank you!
