0 End unit means it is at the end of a hallway (or the end of the building if the entrance is outside); you would only have a neighbor on one side, not both. 1 level means that the apartment itself is all on one level -- there would not be an upstairs and downstairs within the unit. 2nd floor means it is on the second floor (which I think is called the first floor in Europe; that is, one flight of stairs above the ground floor).

  • "Green belt/trails" is a feature of the community rather than the individual apartment -- it means that the area around the buildings in the community is landscaped to provide pleasant walking trails and grassy areas.

00Is it to say a building has 2 floors if it has 1 level? By the same token, a building has 3 floors if it has 2 levels, a building has 4 floors if it has 3 levels..etc. 02br

0 No, that's not quite what I meant. But you could imagine a condominium in which each apartment had, say, a kitchen and living room downstairs and bedrooms upstairs - that would be a 2-level unit. Or you could imagine a two-story building, in which some apartments were entirely on the ground floor (wich would be called the first floor in the U.S.) and some were entirely on the next floor (or

00If a condo is said to be 'split level', does it mean '2-level' in your terms. Maybe the kitchen and living room downstairs and bed/bathrooms upstairs? 02br

Off to one side there are two short staircases, one going up to the bedrooms, and one going down to a den or family room. The bedrooms are directly abov
