Conditionals, Zero, First, Second, Third, Mixed.
So, finished this exercise, but I was a little unsure as to what exactly constituted a mixed conditional.
Also, I seem to have answered a disproportionate amount of the answers 'Second Conditionals'. I think I have over-represented this conditional! Feedback is greatly appreciated

2. If you heat water to 100° Celsius, it boils. 2- Zero
3. If I hadn’t picked up Martin’s wallet, he would be in dire straits now. 3- Third
4. If you go out alone at night, you will get into trouble. 4- First
5. If you had studied Spanish last year, you would have been fluent by now. 5- Second
6. If I eat chocolate all the time, I get fat. 6- Zero
7. If I were you, I’d buy the red dress. 7- Second
8. What would you have done, if your girlfriend told you she had got a new boyfriend? 8- Mixed
9. If she had looked where she was going, she wouldn’t have had an accident. 9- Third
10. If you come to the party tonight, you’ll meet Tom. 10- First
11. If you build it, he will come. 11- Zero
12. If I were you, I wouldn’t touch that. 12- Second
13. If you stroke cats, they purr. 13- Zero
14. If James wanted to go to Iceland, he would have booked a flight by now. 14- Mixed
15. If you spank children, they cry. 15- Zero
16. If only you had continued playing the piano, you would be an amazing player by now. 16- Third
17. If you are nice to people, they are nice back. 17- First
18. If I spoke nicely to you, would you talk to me? 18- Second
19. We’ll go to the cinema, if the weather’s bad. 19- Second
20. If I won a million pounds, I’d pay off my debts and go on holiday. 20- Second

This isn't correct, sentence one is the second conditional- I haven't checked the rest but if the first one is wrong, there's not much hope for the rest of them!

I found that 11 out of 25 were wrong.
You might have done better if you had answered randomly. You are obviously just guessing. What seems to be the problem? How are you going about this task? Are you having trouble identifying verb tenses?
Try using the search box or Google and looking at the hundreds of posts on conditionals and take a good look at Tanit's advice above.
