Conditionals

Please someone help me to understand following sentences. My question is what are the situations that we can have to use "if + subject + would" or "if + subject + would have" in a sentence. I've read some articles about zero, first, second, third and mix conditionals. However, there wasn't none of them had used "if + subject + would". Nevertheless, whenever I've found following sentences on a website, I got little bit confused, because of lack of knowledge about such sentence structures.

The woman asked me, interrupting my talk with Julia, if I would like some candy.

If I would have just pulled up a little bit more or went up a little bit harder.
