Conditionals

Hi,

Please can someone tell me what conditional this sentence is:

- Yes, but I'd prefer to be second onto the market if it means we make a superior product.

Is it first conditional because it's talking about a future event that's likely or probable? but it's just First conditional using 'would' instead of 'will'? I'm not sure if that works though, as usually 'would' is with second conditional, to talk about an unlikely event, so maybe it's second conditional but using present simple in the if clause rather than past simple!?

Bit confused as you can see, please let me know if you can help please!!
