Conditionals

We were supposed to have the company picnic next month. However, it has been cancelled. I said to my friend today" I still wouldn't go to the picnic even if it hadn't been cancelled." Did I say it correctly? What conditional should I use when the past action has a connection with the future action.

Thank you in advance for taking your time to answer my question.
