Conditionals

Help! I am teaching pre-intermediate ESL students tomorrow, using 'can't buy me love' by the Beatles. I want to use some of the lines as examples of the first conditional, but they're a bit odd in form. For example, how would I analyse the form of 'I'll buy you a diamond ring my friend if it makes you feel alright'?
Thanks

The being made to feel alright would happen in the future, after being given the ring. I've possibly just been looking at
