Conditionals

Hello, I was wondering whether it is possible to use continous tenses in conditionals.

For example in the sentence: If I had listened it wouldnt have been happening to me.

Is it correct?

thank you?

Anonymous If I had listened , it wouldn ' t have been happening to me. It might be less usual to use continuous tenses in conditionals, but it's not wrong. CJ
