Conditionals

Can you give us some examples of the different conditionals that exist in the English Language.

Type 1 Present Simple + Future

If you keep that window open, your dog will get a cold. That would be the normal use. However, could you also say :

If you keep that window open, your dog is going to get a cold.

Do you have any examples of the other types? Thanks in advance.

You can use past tense, of course: "If you kept that window open, your dog would get a cold". Despite being in past tense, this is not a statement about the past, it's just generic advice. You can use past perfect: "If you had kept that window open, your dog would have got a cold".
