Conditional vs Provisional

This has been bugging me for a while. Could anyone explain the difference between a conditional sentence and a provisional sentence? And maybe offer a few examples?
Any insight would be appreciated! : )

I've never heard of 'provisional sentence' as a grammar term; I would presume it is just a synonym for 'conditional sentence'. I eagerly await enlightenment.
