Hi guys,

Eg. ' they are not gonna ask you about me ,if they asked/ask ,tell them I am sick'

which one is correct?

Thanks

They probably won’t ask you about me, but if they do , tell them I’m sick . You can’t use did because a remote/second conditional must contain a modal verb, as in If they asked about me, I would tell them I’m sick.
