conditional sentences

Hi, I need help with these conditional sentences:

1) I think that if Marcos ________________ (not/be) so angry that night, he and Ana _________________(still/be) together today.

2) Stephanie ________________(become) an international athlete if she _____________(train) harder when she was younger.

I've been told that the sentences use second conditional, but i strongly disagree. I hope someone can confirm that these sentences use third conditional.
