Conditional Sentence

Hi everyone.
My question's about verbs "should" and "would" in conditional sentences .
1. If it had’t been for you, I should/would have never done this work in time.
2. If it were raining now, I should/would stay at home.

As I can understand, "should" is more "certain" kind of action, but we can use "would" in this sentences as well.
