Conditional (agreement)

Hi!
Is this sentence correct even though it doesn't follow the third conditional?

You could've enjoyed yourself if you met your friends last weekend.

Thanks for the help!Emotion: smile

Hi MrM!

Do you mean it doesn't work even in informal conversation?

Should it be " You could've enjoyed yourself if you had met with your friends."?

Thanks!

Sorry I forgot to include "last weekend".

Thanks!

As I just commented elsewhere, native speakers, especially illiterate ones, are liable to say anything.

Hi again MrM!

Thanks, but I really don't know how native speakers deliver their words.
Hard for me to understand which is right and which is not. That's why I keep on asking.
