Conditional

-I guess that the first one of each set below is the third conditional. Am I correct?

-Are all below grammatical and do they all make sense?

-Is it possible that I don't use the third conditional and I still can convey the same meaning with the alternatives as set out other than the first one in a set? If it is, is there any difference in usage or connotation or nuance between them?

  1. If it hadn't been for my friend warning me, I would have got into trouble.
  2. If my friend didn't warn me, I would have got into trouble.
  3. If my friend didn't warn me, I would get into trouble.
  4. If my friend were not to warn me, I would get into trouble.
  1. If my teacher had known about this, they would have been angry.
  2. If my teacher knew about this, they would have been angry.
  3. If my teacher knew about this, they would be angry.
  4. If my teacher were not to know about this, they would be angry.
  1. If I hadn't been late, I could have gone to the movies.
  2. If I wasn't late, I could have gone to the movies.
  3. If I wasn't late, I could go to the movies.
