Conditional

Hi.

What is the difference between the two sentences?

1- What would you tell your teacher if you hadn't done your homework?
2-What would you tell your teacher if you didn't do your homework?

I think the sentence #1 doesn't make sense and should be edited to this:

1-What would have you told your teacher if you hadn't done your homework?

Thanks.

But why #1 is superior?
I thought this structure (had+pp) is just used in third conditional.
Is it mixed conditional? A combination of second and third conditionals I mean.
