Conditional

Hello, everyone.

Would you please read the following:

"I put my hat on whenever I have a headache. So, if you ever find me wrapping my head like that in the summer agian, then please know this is the reason why I am doing it."

-Is the use of the present continuous there correct?
-Can we instead use will be, i.e. "..this is the reason why I will be doing it"?

Thank you.

A case could be made for its grammatical correctness, but it certainly doesn't sound very natural.

Hello, ..

Sorry for revisiting this, but I've been wanting to further ask:

It is correct that, and supposing the speaker wants to abstract from the time-context and concentrate more on the thematic point which they're thinking of, that part of the statment be phrased in the imperative:

"I put my hat on whenever I have a headache. So, if you ever find me wrapping my head
