conditional

I'm not confident in using "should" with a sentence of the conditional. Therefore, I'm wondering if the sentences below are fine or not, and if they sound natural or not. Could you help me?
[1] "If the character in the novel should be killed, who will do that?" < I think this is an example of the zero conditional>
[2] "If the character in the novel should be killed, who would do that?" < I guess it's one of the first conditional>

Top answer

" the first conditional > Those are Conditional 1 and 2 respectively, but they are OK.

  • " the first conditional > Those are Conditional 1 and 2 respectively, but they are OK.
