Hi, Would anyone kindly clear my doubts about the following sentences?
a). If I'd had the chance to meet him, I'd have told him that I was or am a big fan of him.
b). If my boss had known that I was or am shirking work, he would have fired me?
c). If John had known that his wife was or is cheating on him, he would 've killed her.
d). If he had known that Jill loved or loves him, he wouldn't have married another girl.
Deal all, I'm confused about the parts used between the If and the result clauses. Could you please tell me which tense to choose in situations like these? Thank you.
